Mini Poll: An Apple A Day?

It sent tremors through the second floor of City Hall when Mayor Francis Slay recently tossed his trusty BlackBerry in a drawer and picked up an iPhone. After all, it was the mayor’s example that brought Twitter and Facebook to the fore as media through which city departments and their directors communicated with residents and with each other. Who wanted to miss a tweeted directive or careful hint from the boss?

But, the mayor had always done his communicating – and texting and web-surfing – on a series of BlackBerrys, prompting older directors to follow suit and younger staffers to smile indulgently. It was Vanguard Cabinet director Patrick R. Brown (@iPRB) who finally convinced hizzoner to make the switch to the ubiquitous Apple (a 4s, in white).

MayorSlay.com has no idea how closely its boss has followed the hype surrounding the announcement of iPhone5. For that matter, we have no idea how closely you have been following it. So, this week’s Mini-Poll asks you to help us calibrate your feelings.
