Mini Poll: Through Traffic

Photo: Dan Rather

Pop icon/HD TV producer Dan Rather once said that Americans would put up with anything that didn’t block traffic. We know what he meant, but – judging from the email received by MayorSlay.com – a lot of our readers would love to have some of the traffic on their own streets blocked . . . or slowed . . . or directed on to other streets. But others, especially those who fall asleep with dog-eared copies of The Death and Life of Great American Cities next to their beds, worship the intact street grid and worry about self-isolated streets.
