Bonus Question:
Some cities have begun experimenting with a new idea: cross-training firefighters and paramedics as police officers. The newly certified "public safety officers" increase the number of law enforcers in their jurisdictions, without all the expense of identifying and training raw recruits. No plans have been discussed to introduce this idea in St. Louis. But, MayorSlay.com would like to know:
Would you generally support or oppose a program that allowed some firefighters and paramedics to train as police officers in order to improve public safety in City neighborhoods?
