Crime Stats (CWE and citywide), to date

Here is a summary of the crime stats so far this year in the CWE:

Total crime is down 15.3%
Property crime is down 18.1%
Crimes against people are up 13.8% (Almost all of that is driven by an increase in robberies. There are ten more this year)
Aggravated assaults are down 3.8%

Yesterday's was the first homicide in the CWE this year.


Here is a summary of crime stats so far this year citywide:

Total crime in the City is down 14.4%
Property crime is down 18.4%
Crimes against people are up 3.4%
Robberies are down 14.4%
Aggravated assaults are up 13.4%

St. Louis has had 77 homicides, down by four from last year year to date.
