Bad bill: HR 5092
Congress should be making it harder, not easier, for criminals to get their hands on guns. Unfortunately, a bill that will be debated soon in the U.S. House of Representatives goes the wrong direction.
HR 5092 essentially does two things: it would make it easier for bad gun dealers to evade the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives’ reach and make it harder for ATF to prove a case against a bad dealer.
I am going to ask our representatives to oppose HR 5092.
