Board Votes To Ask Voters To Cut Its Size
I will sign this bill when it gets to my desk. City voters will decide in November how many aldermen they want ten years from now. I hope that the opportunity to do so will increase voter turnout for the crucial federal and statewide election.
I will also support the proposition itself. It would be a step forward in making city government work better and seem less arcane.
